Records from 2 different tables in a portal via SQL

Hey all,

Here’s an odd little question:

Can I get records from 2 different tables to appear in the same portal via a SQL filter calculation?

Obviously I’d need to have the different fields from each table in the portal and yes it’s probably a kludge but I thought it the easiest solution for what I need to do.

If the answer is yes, what would the SQL calculation look like?
