Paste, or not?

I've been searching and searching for a solution to my issue, and have not found a good answer yet.
I have a itinerary database I have created. I have a portal to list up to 5 flights for each date.
I have a report for these flights and it all works just fine.
Now, on occasional days, I would like to paste these flight records into a notes field, with the press of a button.
Am I looking at this process all wrong (pasting)? Is there a better way to insert these 5 portal records into a single "notes" field?

I originally chose to paste, because it's just plain text in the notes field, which then I can bold some parts and italicize some parts, etc.... I plan on also typing other instructions into the notes field around the flight info.
